yesterday on the train back home from work the guy next to me was reading 1984 and i just wanted to hug him and tell him he was reading one of my favorite books of all time, but i didn't. i hope he knows anyway.
I watched movies "about" Orwell's "1984". I played videogames inspired by it (like french "Beyond good and evil"). I even cite it here and there, just to appear a bit more cultured (and boring, perhaps), but.. I never read it. Then.. no cultural hugs, I suppose.
